Welcome to Guimatur

Guimatur is an association formed by 19 women, 17 shellfish gatherers and 2 net-makers. It is open to any woman working in the fisheries sector in Cambados (in the mussel rafts, as a shipowners, sailors…). Guimatur was formed in 2004 as a result of some training courses financed by European funds (EQUAL project) and held in the municipality of Cambados in close collaboration with the Fishermen's and Fisherwomen's Association "San Antonio".
